Motor Toon Grand Prix 2 is an arcade racing game, developed by Polys Entertainment - a team that has earned worldwide fame as Polyphony Digital. The title, unlike the first installment of the series, appeared not only in Japan but also in the United States (under the title Motor Toon Grand Prix) and Europe.

Mechanics

In Motor Toon Grand Prix 2, we play as one of eight riders (each with an individual driving style) and take part in crazy races in go-kart-like vehicles. We fight for victory on five different routes, and success can be ensured by using power-ups scattered around the arenas - such as bombs, rockets, fireballs, nitros, and a shield to protect against the attacks of opponents.

Game modes

In addition to the Championship mode, which is the pillar of Motor Toon Grand Prix 2, we also have the option of taking part in a single race or testing our skills in time trials. In addition, when two consoles are combined, the title enables us to have fun in the company of a second player.

Technical aspects

Motor Toon Grand Prix 2 features three-dimensional cartoonish visuals. As a curiosity, it should be added that during the race the vehicles behave as if they were made of jelly, which illustrates the forces acting on them.
