Moose Life
Moose Life is a third-person perspective shooter, in which - controlling the moose - we shoot at various, colourful objects and avoid attacks. The game refers by convention to the classic games known from arcade machines. It was developed by Llamasoft studio.
Moose Life is a psychedelic shooter that refers to arcade games from the 1980s. The game supports virtual reality goggles, but does not require them to work. The game was developed by Llamasoft, an independent studio founded by British developer Jeff Minter (creator of Polybius or Tempest 2000).
Mechanics
In Moose Life, we control the titular moose - we observe the action from behind him (TPP view). The game is about shooting at objects, which are displayed in front of us and avoiding attacks, which approach the character. It is worth noting at the same time that our hero can jump and even move on the ceiling.
Game modes
In Moose Life, we can only play solo. The core of the game is the single player mode.
Technical aspects
Moose Life has an unusual graphics, which was designed in a retro style - reminiscent of games from the 1980s. On the screen we see a lot of vivid colours and lighting effects. The game is accompanied by a very dynamic techno soundtrack.
Other information
In VR mode Moose Life in the version for PlayStation 4 console works with PlayStation VR helmet. On PC, the Valve Index, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift goggles are supported.
