Monster Prom 3: Monster Roadtrip is the third installment of the series of adventure games with monsters in the lead role, launched in 2018. It was developed by the Beautiful Glitch studio. Unlike the previous parts of the series, flirting becomes secondary here, and the main gameplay feature is the survival aspect.

Plot

Monster Prom 3: Monster Roadtrip takes us on a car trip through the vast world inhabited by monsters. We develop relationships with its participants and get to know hitchhikers picked up along the way, as well as face various challenges. During the journey we have to both take care of resources and face various conflicts. The whole game is spiced up with a solid dose of specific humor characteristic for the series.

Game mechanics

Action of Monster Prom 3: Monster Roadtrip takes place on a vast map full of various attractions, which we observe from a top-down view. Moving from place to place, we not only learn more about the game world, but also get to know our travel companions. We're talking about both the participants of the trip and hitchhikers, where we can find well-known characters and a number of completely new faces. Although the title allows us to have conversations with them, establish close relationships and make dates, flirting is not the point of the game. Instead, the survival aspects have taken priority. We have to manage resources skillfully during the trip, making sure not to deplete them completely, which will prematurely end our journey.

Game modes

In Monster Prom 3: Monster Roadtrip we can play solo or in multiplayer mode for up to four people (locally or over the Internet). Although the multiplayer is co-op oriented, there is a competitive aspect as we have to choose between achieving common and individual goals.

Technical aspects

The colorful graphics of Monster Prom 3: Monster Roadtrip is in the cartoon style known from previous installments of the series. We can also listen to music from different genres played by several radio stations.
