Monopoly Deluxe is a computer version of one of the most famous board games, which has been winning the hearts of millions of people around the world for decades.

At first glance, Monopoly Deluxe may seem a complicated game, but in reality, the basic rules of the game are very simple (and one hundred percent faithful to the original). Around the board there is a road, which will be covered by individual competitors. The number of fields they can go through in one turn depends on the result of the dice throwing. Stopping on a particular field, we can take some action (usually buying a surrounding area) or submit to random events (e.g. a penalty for parking, imprisonment). If another player stands in a place that belongs to us, he has to pay a fine. Its height depends on whether there are additional houses or a hotel in the field.

Of course, this is only part of the rich rules of Monopoly Deluxe. You can read about all of them in a meticulously prepared help, which is available at any time of play. The computer version of the classic board game has of course a few facilities, which you can't find in the original. First of all, we receive here a handful of statistics on the state of our possessions, which are updated on a regular basis. If you wish, you can change the view on the board and display the fields occupied by any player. The strength of Monopoly Deluxe is also the participation of computer opponents (several degrees of difficulty). Although up to eight people can take part in the game, the inclusion of opponents controlled by the program allows you to play just as well.

The game was published in both DOS and Windows 3.11 versions (the latter is much more intuitive to use). The visual setting is faithful to the board prototype, so it is hard to expect graphical fireworks here. On the other hand, the audio layer looks very good. All the actions in the game are accompanied by a wide range of samples, including different sounds assigned to specific heroes. Monopoly Deluxe is an excellent alternative for those who would like to play this one of the most famous board games, but for various reasons do not have access to it (or lack of people willing to play).
