Monkey Tales: The Princess of Sundara

Monkey Tales: Princess Sundary is a proposal of the Belgian studio Larian (known primarily from the Divinity series) addressed to young players of all ages. Production combines adventure and arcade elements with educational ones, providing both entertainment and learning.

In the kingdom of the Sundary it's not the best thing to do - the dragon Rinzin kidnapped a very wise princess from the palace. The player directs the actions of a courageous young man who, regardless of the danger, follows the abductee's footsteps, crossing, among others, the desert plains of the Sundary, the Morgana oasis and dark catacombs.

The game was designed for users aged 7-8 years old. The gameplay focuses on exploring underdeveloped locations, fighting enemies and solving puzzles. In the course of the game, the player has to demonstrate not only reflex but also mathematical skills, performing simple actions on numbers (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).

Educators and children's psychologists were involved in the game, which allowed to adjust the level of difficulty to the mental and manual abilities of young audiences. A simple control system and a very clear user interface should not cause problems even for inexperienced players.

Against the background of competing titles, the game Monkey Stories: Princess Sundary is distinguished by its attractive audiovisual setting. Colourful colors of three-dimensional graphics and nice looking models of characters will appeal to the audience regardless of age.
