Monaco 2

Monaco 2 is a stealth action game, and the sequel to the award-winning Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine. It was developed by the authors of the first part - the indie studio Pocketwatch Games, headed by Andy Schatz (the creator of the series).

Game mechanics

Playing one of the available characters - from a range of thieves and masters of infiltration with unique skills - solo or in cooperation with other players we set up heists on procedurally generated locations, providing us with diversified gameplay for a long time. The goal is to find a way to obtain the desired items, using the available abilities and cunning, and after obtaining them, escape from the scene.

Changing the environment to a 3D one, shown in an isometric view, expands the mechanics known from the first part (i.e. opening locks, hacking, disguising) with new options - such as using ladders or digging tunnels.

Game modes

The game offers entertainment for a single player and for a group in local co-op on a split screen or over the network. Co-operative gameplay is the pillar of the game.

Technical aspects

In this part we have more detailed 3D environment shown in isometric view, which is a big leap in comparison with 2D top-down view from Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine.
