A manga style action game with a third person view (TPP). The player directs the actions of Misa, a teenage high school student who mastered the fight with the holy sword to perfection. The heroine has to catch her schoolmate, guilty of the teacher's death. Production was created by independent studio Zenith Blue.

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae is a proposal of the Japanese studio Zenith Blue addressed mainly to the lovers of manga comics, in which one of the frequently appearing motifs are high school girls who wield white weapons.

The main character of Mitsuruga Kamui Hikae is Misa, a teenage sword master. When her friend, Suzuka, becomes the owner of a demonic blade with which she kills the teacher, the protagonist follows in her footsteps. However, a former colleague is supported by powerful forces of evil, including hordes of bullies and combat robots.

The core of the game are spectacular fights with the use of white weapons. The competition takes place in large arenas, and during the fight the player can make various combinations of blows. Every kind of opponent (including the bosses of the boards) requires the use of appropriate tactics, which greatly diversifies the fun.

The experience gained during fights translates into skill points, which can be spent on mastering new attacks and special blows or developing skills already possessed.

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae's audio-visual luminaire, maintained in the manga style, despite its aesthetic design, clearly indicates the low-budget character of the production. Three-dimensional graphics used in the game attracts attention due to numerous special effects generated during the duels (flashes, light streaks, energy discharges, etc.).
