Mobile version of Mini Ninjas from 2009, realized in the form of a dexterity endless runner. In the game we play four miniature ninja warriors with different skills and go through stages, bypassing obstacles and fighting with encountered enemies. The aim of the game is to retrieve the stolen artifact from the hands of a sinister sorcerer.
Mini Ninjas Mobile, released on AND and iOS, is a mobile version of an action game that debuted in 2009 on the seventh generation consoles and PC. In this case, however, we are dealing with a completely different production, maintained in the atmosphere of the original. Mini Ninjas Mobile is an arcade endless runner developed by Magic Pockets studio, previously known mainly from productions on Nintendo's handheld consoles.
Plot
In terms of plot, Mini Ninjas Mobile offers a typical, simple story in which an evil sorcerer steals a powerful artifact guarded by a dragon. The only heroes who can reclaim this valuable item are four mini ninjas: Hiro, Futo, Suzume and Kunoichi. Each of them is characterized by unique abilities, and the completion of the mission requires close cooperation between the four heroes. Hiro wields magic and can climb vertical walls, Futo can break huge boulders with his hammer, Suzume uses the power of her magical flute, and Kunoichi can perform long jumps that are perfect for combat.
Mechanics
Compared to other endless runner games, Mini Ninjas Mobile stands out due to its quite complex gameplay mechanics. During the game, the characters move automatically to the right side of the screen, and players have to jump over obstacles and attack opponents. We do that by touching the right or left side of the screen respectively. As we play, our special energy bar grows - after filling it, we can make a special attack. As the game progresses, we equip our heroes with new, useful powers. We can also release trapped animals, such as panda, fox or crane and use their skills during the game. During the breaks between missions, we can visit the dojo and personalize the characters with additional outfits and weapons, which can be purchased in the game through microtransactions.
