Quite a complex real-time strategy, in which we deal with the development of the title metropolis. To this end, we build new buildings and listen attentively to the wishes of the residents.

MetropolisMania 2 is a continuation of a rather complex real-time strategy, the first part of which was published in Europe in 2002. As in the previous part, we deal with the development of the title metropolis. This game is far from the level of complexity presented even by the titles from the Sim City series. MetropolisMania to a greater extent resembles games such as Tycoon City: New York, giving many important issues in a rather simplified form. Natsume is responsible for releasing this game. It is also worth noting that both parts of the described strategy were initially planned with the Japanese customer in mind. The game was released only on PlayStation 2.

The player's task is to design a vibrant metropolis from scratch. First of all, the inhabitants should be encouraged in some way, so that they can then satisfy their needs. An important role in this case is played by asking random passers-by about their opinions about the city and possible changes that would have to be made. They can demand the construction of cinemas, more parks, or an increase in the exclusivity of the area. Maintaining their satisfaction at a high level is essential for further development. This allows not only to retain current residents, but also to attract completely new tenants.
