Metal Suits: Counter-Attack is a science fiction action platforming game in which we play as a cyborg. The game was developed by the independent studio Eggtart Inc, whose current portfolio consists of mobile projects and slightly larger-scale games - Demong Hunter and Age of Solitaire: Build Civilization.

Story

The action of Metal Suits: Counter-Attack takes place in the year 4373, which is about 130 years after humanity moved out of the Solar System and settled in the Helios planetary system. The main character is a war veteran named Kevin, who spends his retirement in the company of his faithful dog - Andy.

The peace lasts until the moment when the rehabilitation ship, on board of which the protagonist resides, is destroyed by the alien race Golida. The explosion of the ship results in the dog's death and also deprives Kevin of most of his body. Since the explosion was not able to kill the hero, he continues to live as a cyborg. In this way begins the bloody journey of a revenge-thirsty soldier, who declares war on the aggressors.

Gameplay

In Metal Suits: Counter-Attack we watch the events from the side. The adventure leads us through 9 planets of the Helios system, and during it we rush to the right through locations, jump on platforms and avoid traps and terrain obstacles, as well as eliminate hordes of enemies.

Suits and weapons

The game provides us with a range of titular suits, which have been diversified in terms of appearance and combat capabilities. The outfit we choose determines what weapon the hero uses and how they deal with enemies.

Among them, we will find suits integrated with such weapons as a flying bomb launcher, machine gun, flamethrower, rotary cannon, or rocket launcher. Moreover, for close combat fans, there are suits combined with an energy sword, or shurikens and a katana. There was even room here for a suit resembling a teddy bear, allowing enemies to be hit with paws.
