In the sequel, players will get to know further adventures of Kurt Hectic, Dr. Hawkins and cybernetic dog Maks. This time the heroes try to stop the alien invasion of Earth. Gameplay requires the effective use of the individual skills of each character.

MDK 2 is a sequel to MDK and was developed by BioWare. MDK 2 once again puts us in control of Kurt Hectic and his two companions: Max - a cybernetic dog - and his creator Doctor Fluke Hawkins. This time, tey have to face the invasion of an incredibly dangerous alien race, Streamriders, who wish to destroy the Earth for petty amusement.

In order to effectively eliminate the aggressors, each character is equipped with a unique set of traits and skills. Kurt, thanks to his speed and proficiency with an outstanding sniper rifle, is an expert at silent and precise attacks. Additionally, he may fly long distances thanks to his ribbon chute and perform air raids with it that are bound to surprise the enemy.

Max, on the other... paw, possesses three pairs of paws and is able to use four guns simultaneously, which makes him incredibly dangerous in direct combat. Apart from that, he has two times more hit points than the other protagonists.
