The third installment of the series of fights, in which characters created by Capcom stand up to fight superheroes from the comic universe of Marvel. In addition to Arcade and training mode, in Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes there is also Crossover variant, in which during the duel we can switch between two players.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes is the third installment of the popular crossover series initiated by X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Like the earlier installments of the series of fighting games, the game launched on arcade machines and later appeared, among others, on PS1.

Mechanics

Unlike the previous installments of the series, in Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes the players can play not only as the fighters known from the Street Fighter series and the superheroes of the Marvel universe but also characters from other games released by Capcom. On one side of the barricade we can find Captain America, The Hulk, Spider-Man, and Wolverine, while on the other side, for example, Mega Man, Ryu, Chun-Li and Captain Commando.

The core of the game are once again duels in two-dimensional arenas, in which success is ensured first of all by the mastering of the extensive system of combos. Before the duel we choose two heroes, but unlike in the edition designed for arcade machines and Sega Dreamcast console, on PS1, the second warrior acts as an assistant, entering the battlefield only in order to launch special attacks.
