Mobile action RPG developed by Korean studio Netmarble, set in the world of Marvel comics. In Marvel Future Revolution we play as superheroes whose task is to stop a cataclysm threatening the entire multiverse.
Marvel Future Revolution is an open-world action RPG developed by NetMarble studio, set in South Korea. This is a free-to-play mobile game set in a world known from Marvel comics.
Plot
The story revolves around Marvel superheroes and their attempts to stop an interdimensional catastrophe called Convergence. As a result of unexplained cosmic anomalies, different dimensions of the multiverse began to overlap. Earths from different dimensions began to come closer together, threatening to collide and annihilate the populations of both planets. The heroes managed to temporarily stop the catastrophe thanks to Vision, who sacrificed himself to stop the planets in their tracks. The rest of the heroes must use this bought time to discover the causes of the Convergence and return the dimensions to normal.
Mechanics
Future Revolution is a real-time action RPG controlled entirely via touchscreen. The player commands a team made up of selected Marvel heroes. Each hero has different abilities, for example: Star-Lord fights at a distance with a gun, Black Widow prefers hand-to-hand combat, while Storm uses electricity to strike groups of enemies. Controlling the heroes, we traverse the open world of the game, complete missions and tasks and collect materials to upgrade the heroes.
Future Revolution is a free game, but contains micropayments - in exchange for real money we can buy loot boxes containing random upgrades. Player can equip his heroes with unique costumes with varying degrees of rarity, which add bonuses to stats. Each part of the costume belongs to a set, and completing the set gives unique bonuses. Our characters can also be equipped with cards that increase their stats.
Game modes
The game includes both cooperative and competitive modes. Players can cooperate in raids and boss fights, or stand up to 4v4 or 1v1 battles.
Technical aspects
The audiovisual setting of the game makes a positive impression. Frequent, directed cutscenes can be particularly pleasing. The game runs on the Unreal engine and is fully voiced.
