Madden NFL 25

Madden NFL 25 is a sports game under the EA Sports banner. It simulates American football games. Similar to the previous installments, this one also uses the official NFL League license, which allows for the implementation of faces of the athletes and their behavior on the field, entire team rosters, and real stadiums. The game was developed by Tiburon studio, a team associated with the series since the mid 1990s.

Gameplay

The biggest change compared to previous installments is the dynamic and physics-based BOOM Tech system (available only in the PS5, XSX and PC versions), which significantly affects one-on-one duels and other aspects of the gameplay.

As part of this improvement, new animations and collisions were added for both sides of the field, which depend on the timing, momentum, weight, speed, strength, and individual player ratings.

A change was also introduced in the Hit Stick defensive game. Its mechanics are also based on timing, which provides greater control dependent on the player's skills.

The last element affected by the new system is the control of the attacking player with the ball. After colliding, we have the opportunity to regain balance and keep running. It all depends on the intensity of the collision and the assessment of the players involved in it.

Game modes

The game offers both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. Similar to improvements in gameplay, some changes in this aspect are also only available for the PS5, XSX and PC versions.

In Franchise mode we run a team throughout the entire season and the creators have completely rebuilt the night of the NFL Draft. Team records and newcomers were also added, as well as new locations and personalized stories, which depend not only on the events on the field, but also on what defines the team's culture beyond it. Additionally, with the Team Builder page, players can fully customize their team with their own crest design, uniforms, and turf.

In addition, the developers also transformed the ranking structure and divisions of the fast OnlineH2H multiplayer mode, allowing us to compete with other players in one match.

The game also includes the well-known Ultimate Team mode, Superstar mode, and traditional single matches, in which we can compete against AI or other players on a shared screen.

In Ultimate Team have the opportunity to create a team based on randomly drawn players from card packs, and then compete with other players. In Superstar we simulate the career of a single player. We have an influence on how he performs on the field, as well as on their training, social media and contacts with the media.
