A MMORPG set in a fairy tale fantasy world. Unlike many other titles of this type, in devCAT studio production there is no division into classes and the player has full freedom in the creation of his own character, choosing features and skills characteristic for different races and classes. There is also a crafting system, complex quests and trade, i.e. features characteristic for this genre.
Mabinogi is a MMORPG set in a fairy tale, colorful fantasy world. This production was released by the Korean company Nexon, which has a portfolio of several other products of this genre, including MapleStory, Vindictus and Combat Saga.
The game takes place on three continents - Uladh, Belvast and Iria, and where we start our adventure depends on our character: the creators allow us to choose between a man, an elven and a giant. Unlike many other titles of this type, this production does not contain rigidly defined character classes - the creation of your avatar is done by using so-called character cards, allowing you to mix features and skills (for example: we can create an archer who can heal or a warrior who uses magic).
In the title you will find an extensive combat module in both PvE mode (player vs. computer-controlled characters) and PvP mode (player vs. player) with the use of white weapon, distance weapon and magic. Battle abilities can be developed in the skill tree which gives a wide range of possibilities of personalization of our hero. The players who avoid skirmishes will also find something for themselves - at any time they can take part in feature quests, try their hand at trade or spend time playing one of the many available musical instruments.
Implemented crafting system allows you to create hundreds of different items from several categories: in addition to standard services in the field of weapon and armour creation, we can take care of cooking, hand knitting or potions cooking. Each of the created items can be sold or used for further gameplay.
The visual setting of the game does not differ from most similar productions - it is colorful and legible, and the animations of the characters are fluid. The world of the game is varied, and different conditions prevailing in different lands determine the occurrence of given opponents and plants. Mabinogi is a production using the "Value Added Services" system, combining free gameplay and the ability to purchase special card parcels, available through a built-in game store.
