Game mechanics

In Longvinter we watch the action from a top-down view. Game gives us a vast and diverse world, in which we can find, among others, picturesque valleys and coasts and snowy mountain peaks. While wandering through it, we should focus primarily on acquiring various resources. They serve us, among other things, to build (and expand) our own camp, which serves as our base. An important role is also played by the need to gain food; the game allows us, among other things, to fish or cultivate land.

Surplus of the collected goods can be sold to merchants residing in our camps or to other players. In this way we gain funds which we can use to purchase more and more advanced equipment. The title also offers a crafting system, which allows us to create new tools and other elements of equipment by combining various items.

It is worth remembering that although nothing stands in the way of cooperation with other players, sometimes we have to fight bloody battles for control over the island. During dynamic battles we use firearms, among other things.

Game modes

Longvinter provides only multiplayer mode.
