Little Misfortune is a point&click adventure game developed by the independent studio Killmonday Games, the authors of the disturbing Fran Bow. The title was created for the PC platform.
Story
The action of Little Misfortune takes place in a universe created for the aforementioned Fran Bow. The main character of this production is Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez, an eight-year-old girl who intends to give her mother Eternal Hapiness. In order to find it, the protagonist sets out on a journey with Mr. Voice as her guide.
While following the adventures of Misfortune, which are full of dark humour, we watch her fall in love along the way, dig up a cemetery and even commits some crimes but it is also worth remembering that the decisions we make influence the course of the story.
Mechanics
In Little Misfortune, which was released on the PC platform, the action is shown from the side. Over the course of the game we travel through various locations (from forests, through an animal cemetery, to the crowded streets of the city), we talk to neutral characters and solve riddles; apart from that, we also have the opportunity to pet various animals - a dog, a cat, a wolf, a fox, and even a Kraken.
Technical issues
Like Fran Bow, Little Misfortune for the PC platform is characterized by two-dimensional, hand-drawn graphics. It is worth noting that this time the dialogue lines have been fully voiced.
