Little Goody Two Shoes is a cross between an adventure game and an RPG with horror elements. It was developed by AstralShift and published by Square Enix.

Plot

Little Goody Two Shoes is set in a fantasy world, in a small village of Kieferberg. The protagonist is a poor girl named Elise, making a living by helping her neighbors, dreaming of riches. One day, she discovers a pair of beautiful red shoes buried in her backyard. This begins her adventure, as Elise starts delving deep into a mysterious forest, believing her dreams are coming true. She must not let herself be caught, as it could meet her with a terrible fate...

The story features 10 different endings, depending on our actions and choices.

Mechanics

Little Goody Two Shoes makes use of the top-down perspective. During the day, Elise walks around her village, talks to the villagers, helps them with their daily duties and problems portrayed as various mini-games. This lets her establish relationships with her neighbors, and maybe even get a girlfriend.

We must keep her well-fed and rested, as during the night, she explores the dense forest. Venturing deep into the woods, she must solve puzzles and fight enemies.

That's not all though - the people of Kieferberg are very pious, and if they were ever to find out what she does in the night, they'd accuse her of witchcraft and exile her, meaning certain death.

Technical aspects

Little Goody Two Shoes features colorful, cartoonish visuals. The beautiful landscapes during the day are contrasted by the grim, dark forest during the night.
