Legends of Ethernal is a two-dimensional fantasy platform game. This is the debut project of Canadian company Lucid Dreams Studio.

Plot

The game is set in a fantastic land known as Arkanys. We play the role of a boy whose house is destroyed and whose parents are kidnapped. The hero sets off on an expedition to discover what happened to his family.

Mechanics

Legends of Ethernal is a classic platform game. During the game we explore two-dimensional locations, collect items, avoid traps and fight enemies. The game puts focus on skirmishes, offering a large selection of special attacks and frequent battles with powerful bosses.

The gameplay is varied by occasional puzzles and a system of crafting, in which we collect raw materials used to construct new objects. Thanks to this, we gain access to additional mechanics that significantly influence the course of the game.

Legends of Ethernal offers several difficulty levels. Apart from the standard one, there is a hardcore variant, for those who want extreme challenges, and a children's variant, in which the game strongly helps to pass the campaign.
