An action-adventure game for mobile devices, set in a fairy-tale land, in which a sea deity, enraged by the greed of man, turned humans into fish-like monsters. The protagonist, one of the survivors, leaves her family island in search for her kidnapped brother. The gameplay of Legend of the Skyfish focuses on exploration of varied environments, gathering new pieces of equipment, solving various puzzles, and fighting enemies.

Legend of the Skyfish, released on AND and iOS, is an action-adventure game. The production was developed by the Brazilian Mgaia Studio and released by Crescent Moon Games.

Plot

Legend of the Skyfish takes us to a strange fantasy land which used to be ruled by people. They were mainly engaged in fishing, but in their greed, they ventured too far away from the ocean and woke up a sea deity. That deity brought the flood and turned many fishermen into terrifying two-footed monsters with fish heads. Within a few years, human civilization had fallen into ruins and the survivors fled to distant islands.

The player takes on the role of a young girl who returns to the homeland of her ancestors in search of her kidnapped brother.

Mechanics

Legend of the Skyfish is a classic representative of action-adventure games. The events are observed from a camera placed high above the heroine's head. During the game, we explore the world, solve puzzles, collect items and fight enemies.

The combat system is quite unusual - our main weapon is a cross between a sword and a rod. It allows us to attack enemies with a blade and use a hook to attract objects and enemies, manipulate the environment and drag over obstacles, e.g. from island to island. The game also has stealth mechanics, allowing you to sneak between the guards and eliminate them with a single back attack.
