OpenCritic
A three-dimensional adventure game in which we get to know three different, but connected stories from the perspective of three characters. The action of the game takes place in contemporary London, although we will also find supernatural elements in it. Variable State studio is responsible for the production and Annapurna Interactive is the publisher.
Last Stop is an adventure game in which our main task is to discover the story prepared by the creators. The game offers three stories about strangers whose fates are intertwined as a result of a supernatural event. Variable State (creators of the successful Virginia) is responsible for the development of the title. The publisher is Annapurna Interactive (What Remains of Edith Finch or Outer Wilds).
Plot
Last Stop takes place in modern-day London. Three strangers get involved in a situation connected with a certain supernatural event. The story of each of them is a separate act, which, however, is somehow connected with the others. By learning all the elements of the puzzle, we will discover the secrets of the characters and find out what connects them.
Mechanics
Last Stop is a classic three-dimensional adventure game, in which we observe the action from different perspectives - the camera moves to show us things that are important at a given moment. The game involves exploring locations, using items and talking to other characters.
During the game, we control three different characters - a man named John, a teenage girl named Donna, and a mysterious woman known as Meena. The game enables us to shape the story through our choices. We do it in dialogues, choosing the lines to be spoken by the protagonist we control.
Game modes
Last Stop can only be played solo. The mainstay of the game is the story campaign, divided into several acts.
Technical aspects
Last Stop features nice three-dimensional visuals, adopting a slightly comic book-like style. The character and location designs, which resemble animated films, are not too detailed, but they have their own character and fit the game's atmosphere well. During the game we are accompanied by a soundtrack created by BAFTA winner Lyndon Holland.

Windows Central: 4 / 5 by Carli Velocci
Last Stop takes a lot of risks, and for the most part, it succeeds. It's a game about interconnectivity in a modern world, but a few flaws keep it from rising to the heights it wants to.
PlayStation Universe: 8.5 / 10 by Neil Bolt
Variable State follows up the wordless weirdness of Virginia with a far more talkative, and more grounded, supernatural drama with Last Stop. The focus on its three protagonists' everyday problems over the underlying odd phenomena helps to make each tale more engaging, and in turn, makes the stranger things that occur feel more captivatingly mysterious in their initially limited use. It's a little light in terms of traditional player control, but Last Stop tells a hell of a good story that you still very much feel like you're in the director's chair for.
PC Gamer: 70 / 100 by Andy Kelly
A smart, funny, heartfelt narrative game that tells a killer story, but doesn't do much beyond that.
