Story
In Last Empire - War Z: Strategy, the plot plays a supporting role. The player ends up in a world dominated by the title "living corpses" and plays as the leader of a group of survivors. The task to be carried out is to acquire new soldiers, expand the base and create an invincible army. All this in order to create a true post-apocalyptic empire.
Mechanics
The action in Last Empire - War Z: Strategy is presented in isometric perspective. The main element of the game is the expansion of the base - we start the game with a few basic buildings, but as we progress, we unlock access to new structures. These include a variety of production facilities (such as food farms and oil wells where fuel is produced), buildings for recruiting new units, as well as accommodation and shelter facilities for the camp's residents.
Due to the fact that our actions do not escape the attention of our opponents, over time we laso have to fight hordes of bloodthirsty zombies. On the battlefield, we can send not only various soldiers, but also vehicles (including vehicles clearly inspired by Mad Max), and even the undead themselves, whose strength lies, of course, in their numbers. The victory is determined by the size of individual armies and the level of development of the units taking part in the skirmish.
Recruited characters gain experience, which translates into access to more and more advanced combat skills, unlocked on special skill trees. It's worth noting that although it's possible to play solo, a much more sensible solution is to form alliances with other players (communication is provided by the built-in chat). The list of attractions is closed by constantly updated social challenges.
Technical aspects
Audio-visuals Last Empire - War Z: Strategy present a decent level of execution. This applies in particular to the carefully designed environment and the accompanying music, which is quite catchy. The clear, intuitive interface also deserves attention.
