Last Action Hero is an arcade game, loosely based on the plot of the film under the same title. The player will play the role of Jacek Slater, whose main task is to save children held in the port warehouse.

The game is divided into two stages. In the first of them we sit behind the wheel of a car and try to capture the dangerous criminals who attacked the bank. The action is observed from above, as it was the case in Spy Hunter or Grand Theft Auto. Collisions with other cars reduce the level of durability of our vehicle, so drive around the city with extreme caution. A large amount of energy will also be useful when trying to capture the bandits, whose truck should be rearranged. The second stage is the classic murder of walking right, in which, with an extensive set of blows and limited energy, we have to break the opponents' winding up at hand before they do it with us.

Visual setting is not a very successful one, especially considering the year in which the game was created. With a product like Mortal Kombat behind the back, the arcade section cannot arouse positive emotions, all the more so because the character animation is very weak. Between the stages, weaved in digitalized frames from the film, which create simple interludes. Unfortunately, they do not delight either. Last Action Hero is the same game as the cinematic prototype with Arnold Schwarzenegger. And both can be seen once and even have a good time, but only for the first twenty minutes.
