Kya: Dark Lineage

Kya: Dark Lineage is a classic 3D action adventure game that consists of overcoming hard-to-reach platforms, avoiding ubiquitous threats such as spikes, narrow edges, etc., and eliminating enemies. The production action of Eden Games starts in a world known to us. Kya and her younger brother Frank are at home alone. At some point, the boy disappears from her field of vision and finds himself in an unknown part of the basement. After arranging a mysterious puzzle, they both move to an alternative world inhabited by a friendly Nativs animal. Unfortunately, the siblings split and Kya is forced to find her brother. At the beginning of the game we find a village inhabited by these creatures and learn about the constant threat lurking from werewolves called Wolfen or Wolfuns, depending on the version of the game. The heroine decides not only to find the boy, but also to liberate the kidnapped Nativs.

The air plays an important role in the subsequent stages. We often have to struggle with gusts of wind or jump from a huge height. By controlling the main character we try to avoid protruding elements of the environment and safely land on a huge plant. In case of failure, repeat the whole sequence. At every step we come into contact with a variety of puzzles that often require a lot of perceptiveness. After approaching the enemy Wolfun, melee combat begins. The creators prepared a relatively wide range of attacks, including throwing enemies after taking them by the tail.

As the game progresses, we collect so-called nooties. In return, we buy items that allow us to solve some tasks or improve the features of the main character. For example, by exchanging magic bracelets for the better, hand-to-hand combat attacks become more effective. We can also learn to climb on slippery surfaces or reach huge lizards.

Kya: Dark Lineage has a full three-dimensional graphics with rich colors. The whole is maintained in the climate of cartoon and does not differ much from other productions of this species.
