A continuation of a three-dimensional platformer developed by the Polish studio Tate Multimedia (previously known as X-Ray Interactive). Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2 returns to the titular hero, who once again embarks on a demanding journey all around the world to save hundreds of animals that have been abducted by an evil poacher and his band of thugs.

Kao the Kangaroo: Round 2 for PC, PS2 and etc. is a continuation of the warmly-received platformer/arcade game known as Kao the Kangaroo. The game was developed by Tate Multimedia, a new incarnation of the X-Ray Interactive which was responsible for the first installment which has been warmly received on European markets. Interestingly enough, the second installment has been released on all major sixth generation consoles, including PlayStation 2, Xbox, and Nintendo GameCube.

Plot

The story sees us assume control of Kao, the kangaroo who has been abducted by Barnaba, an evil poacher supported by a group of pirates. The villain has begun to capture animals all over the world, including many of Kao’s friends. Left with no other choice, the hero escapes captivity and embarks on a quest to free the animals, supported by a friendly pelican and a loyal whale.
