Plot

The world depicted in Kunai was almost completely destroyed. The human race is practically extinct and the world is dominated by robots. The player takes on the role of one of them - Tabby, who is connected with the soul of an ancient warrior. He sets out on a journey, the aim of which is to know the meaning of existence.

Mechanics

Kunai belongs to the metroidvania genre. The player moves around the world in the same way as in platform games. However, in contrast to this type of games, the player can not rely only on his own skills. In this case, the passing of the subsequent stages will also depend on our character's abilities and equipment.

Tabby's development plays an important role. The player will start the adventure without any skills. This will change with the progress of the game. Each defeated opponent will influence the development of the protagonist. This will provide him not only greater strength, but also access to a whole range of different weapons or special ninja tricks.

The devs made sure that the world shown in the game was as extensive as possible. During the game, the players will have to face several types of opponents. In addition, we can also encounter friendly robots that will help us fight our enemies.

Technical aspects

Kunai was made in pixel art. During the adventure, the player will have the opportunity to visit various locations. The whole thing is depicted by means of a simple and at the same time bright color palette, in which red, beige and blue dominate.
