Kopanito All-Stars Soccer Description
Kopanito All-Stars Soccer for PC is a game created by an independent Polish studio Merix Games. Classic titles such as Kick Off, Sensible Soccer, and Nintendo World Cup were an inspiration for this game.
Mechanics
The gameplay in Kopanito All-Stars Soccer uses the classic football rules as the foundation. Thus, the players meet on virtual football pitches, where two teams fight to score as many goals are possible. Aside from set pieces, such as outs and corners, the gameplay adheres to the “no-holds-barred” rule. As a result, the players can foul at will, even in the penalty box, or interrupt actions using tackles – there isn’t a referee who oversees the match. Even more freedom (and chaos) is brought through so called “supermoves”. They enable, for example, to pull the ball to a player using a magnet, starting a fan that makes accurate shots impossible, teleportation in a different location on the stadium, or freezing the opponents.
The creators incorporated 114 national teams that are different in terms of attributes such as endurance, speed, or even shot efficiency. Some players have special abilities. Aside from eight different stadiums, a special training stadium is available, as well as the ability to create your own using the editor shared by the developers. What’s interesting, the game contains a replay system with the ability to export the sequences to GIF format, while the results can be posted on the online scoreboards.
Game Modes
Kopanito All-Stars Soccer for PC incorporates both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. The lone wolves receive sixteen tournaments and leagues containing a group and final phase, and the ability to generate a championship from the scratch. The multiplayer mode allows for joint matches for up to five players, where the bouts play out in any configuration – nothing stands in the way for the AI to take control of the chosen teams, with four difficulty levels to choose from. Multiplayer gameplay is available either locally or online.
Technical Aspects
Two-dimensional, cartoon visuals have been complemented by grotesque player models and exaggerated animations that accompany various moves on the field. As a result, Kopanito All-Stars Soccer looks good, while this convention results in relatively low system requirements on personal computers.
