Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix Description
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is a collection of two refreshed versions of jRPG games included in the Kingdom Hearts series, created by Japanese Square Enix. A popular cycle combining fire and water - colourful worlds created in Walt Disney's studio with original mythology and characters from Final Fantasy Universities.
In the compilation you will find Kingdom Hearts, released in 2002 on PlayStaion 2 Kingdom Hearts, which started the whole series, and Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. The game is a direct continuation of the only one, and at the same time a bridge connecting it with Kingdom Hearts 2. It was originally released in two versions, on Game Boy Advance in 2004 and three years later on PlayStation 2, and it was this newer edition that came into the set. In addition, the producer included HD movie interludes and an abbreviation of the story from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, released on the Nintendo DS console. The plot of this title takes place at a similar time as Chain of Memories and broadens the knowledge about the world created for the game, allowing you to get to know better some of the supporting characters.
As in the case of the majority of HD collections, no gameplay related elements have been improved. Kingdom Hearts is a typical jRPG, based on action, with a fast and dexterity combat system, based on the use of special attacks and combat spells. The hero is almost always accompanied by two other characters who, like him, advance to the next level of experience. The Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories has a similar system of battles with enemies, but it is based on special ability cards. Players create their own decks of cards corresponding to the moves in combat, such as hitting or using magic. Each time you use a card, it is discarded and replaced by another one in a given inch. This type of solution requires players to think more strategically and prepare the right set before each difficult fight.
The main advantage of Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is the improved graphics of both titles. It has been adapted to modern standards and widescreen screens. Texture resolution has been improved and some special effects and 3D models have been improved. Another advantage is that the games are enriched with trophy support.
