King of Kings 2 is an oriental MMORPG, enjoying great popularity mainly in China and neighboring countries. The flagship attraction of the program created and released by Lager Interactive is the ability to create countries or even entire empires, managed and directed almost entirely by the heroes belonging to the players. The ultimate goal of the game is to become the title king of kings, i.e. the ruler of the whole land.
The game world was set in parallel to our antiquity, but it contains many classic fantasy elements, characteristic for games of the genre. Therefore, it does not lack many fantastic places or fairy tale creatures - ghosts, monstrous animals or dwarves. The player can, of course, define the most important attributes (e.g. gender, appearance, basic skills and attributes) when creating a character. At the beginning, the game consists primarily in standard, gradual performance of the tasks assigned to us and elimination of subsequent groups of monsters. Over time, however, we get the opportunity to interact much deeper with the environment - by joining forces with other players and clearing the region of monsters and hostile heroes, we can try to subjugate the location and establish it as our property.
The states thus created play a key role in the game world, significantly developing the original idea of guilds and clans, particularly in terms of hierarchy, organisation and interaction between them. The rulers even have the possibility of establishing a form of government (e.g. democracy, federation or monarchy) on their own, which of course has a great impact on the structure and characteristics of the functioning of a given state. Ancestral marriages, alliances and coalitions, invasions on border territories - all this is the essence of the game in King of Kings 2. The development of the empire is obviously not possible without the close cooperation of large communities of players, but even the largest nation can collapse when it loses its wise leader, both because of the actions of neighbouring countries and internal conspiracies and intrigues.
