Fate of the Dragon Online is a fictional continuation of quite an innovative series of real-time strategy, located in ancient China. This position is also innovative in many respects. The creators call it MMOSRPG, a mass online game combining elements of RPG and strategy. Player characters are not only alien individualists, but also play their part in the kingdom and work not only for themselves, but also for the success of the whole nation. Thanks to this, the kernel of fun is no longer just an endless fight against mobs and pursuit of subsequent levels of experience, so characteristic for classic MMORPGs.

The plot of the title is a rivalry between the three Chinese kingdoms, in which the ordinary heroes only play the role of serial soldiers. This does not mean, however, that all representatives of a given profession are similar to each other, because a system of development of individual abilities has been applied here, allowing players to shape their own digital equivalent according to their own tastes and preferences. The most important characters on the battlefield are versatile talented generals, whose tactical abilities and ability to command troops have a decisive influence on the fate of battles. An effective army or team needs to be well balanced and universal, it needs both offensive and defensive units, so every specialized soldier is by the weight of gold and will quickly find his place on the battlefield. If the siege of a castle or city controlled by a hostile kingdom takes place, then all kinds of war equipment - observation towers, siege machines, ladders allowing forcing through walls, etc. - the majority of such devices are constructed by the players themselves - an efficient state is not only a strong army, but also a thriving economy and craftsmanship.

The world of the game we visit not only per pedes, we can also use an animal drive. In the vast majority, however, these will be horses of different colours, because given the high realism of the game, we will hardly notice a notorious flies of griffins or dragons here. Steeds do not only play a purely functional role - they also have an important combat value. Thanks to its speed, maneuverability and vitality, Konnica is often able to influence the fate of the battle diametrically. Fresh ideas can also be found in the somewhat calmer aspects of the programme. Players' characters are not resistant to the passage of time and age, which has a significant impact on their coefficients and capabilities. What's more, we can only accept certain tasks if we qualify for a certain age category. The system of community and interaction between heroes also looks interesting - we can have enemies, friends and even life partners, getting married and bearing the full consequences.
