Plot
In Kero Blaster, we play as a human frog working as a janitor in a large technology corporation called C&F Inc. The teleporters produced by the company have started to break down one by one - soon, the entire transport network driven by them was completely paralysed. Our hero must make them function properly again. After reaching the first teleporter, you learn that mysterious black creatures were behind the sabotage.
The plot of Kero Blaster, filled with numerous jokes, is only here to push the player forward.
Mechanics
Kero Blaster, released on PC, Switch, etc., is a classic 2D retro platformer. Our task is to explore maps, avoid traps and fight enemies. The frog is equipped with a laser rifle which can be improved. In addition, our equipment also includes a jetpack, which allows us to fly for a short period of time. The structure of the world is open and the levels are impressive in terms of size and number of hidden secrets.
After completing the campaign, we get an opportunity to test our skills in the Overtime mode. In practice, these are completely new levels, built only from elements known from previous maps. There are so many of them that the mode actually doubles the content of the game. Additional levels are clearly more difficult and have a new plot.
