Kao the Kangaroo: Mystery of the Volcano

Kao the Kangaroo 3 for PC is a new installment of the popular Kao the Kangaroo series developed by Tate Interactive. We are given ten complex levels that offer a story-driven singleplayer experience telling the story of a mysterious volcano towering above a tropical island. Each level offers different challenges, including a plane flight, air battle, or a race taking place in virtual reality. Moreover, our hero received new skills, including the ability to slide trees, and is supported by five friends who will help him throughout his journey.

Mechanics

The authors have managed to create a well-versed platformer that manages to stand against other similar titles. As a result, the game offers quite complex opponent AI that includes six types of enemy behavior and colorful three-dimensional visuals with additional particle effects and extended draw distance. The world is filled with numerous dynamic objects and contains a dynamic day and night cycle that is characterized by numerous additions such as glares or unique sound effects, as well as influences the behavior of the individual characters.
