Plot

Kandagawa Jet Girls is a game associated with anime and manga under the same title - it is one large multimedia project of Kadokawa, Marvelous and Egg Firm. The action of this game takes place in a world in which one of the most popular sports disciplines is the Jet Racing - water races in which teams of two people take part.

Interestingly, in Kandagawa Jet Girls we can also meet some of the characters known from the Senran Kagura series (e.g. Ryobi and Ryona).

Mechanics

Kandagawa Jet Girls is quite a typical racing game - the player chooses a team of two racers and a water racer, and then his goal is to reach the finish line as quickly as possible. One of the girls is responsible for steering the vehicle and avoiding obstacles, while the other one is responsible for shooting rivals with the water cannon - while playing we have to keep both aspects of the game in mind.

What's more, in Kandagawa Jet Girls it's not only speed but also style that counts - performing spectacular stunts and shooting actions, we increase the a Boost bar that allows you to perform immediate, temporary accelerations.

Players also have the ability to customize the appearance of both the players and the machine on which they ride (as well as additional things such as light effects). We can also modify the vehicle's components to improve its performance and adapt them to your individual style of play.

Game modes

We can play Kandagawa Jet Girls alone or with others. The game offers a feature campaign consisting of several dozen episodes - while playing, we gradually learn the stories and motivations of individual players. In this title you can also find the online multiplayer mode, which was prepared for four people.

Technical aspects

Kandagawa Jet Girls has quite an attractive, three-dimensional graphic design. The game uses quite typical, manga style and vivid colours, but both the character models and the game environment are not at the worst level of detail. The graphics is enriched by spectacular lighting effects that accompany the game.
