Inspector Gadget: Mad Robots Invasion is a simple arcade game, created mainly for younger PlayStation 2 users. While playing, of course, we play as the title inspector, a very popular character, especially in the eighties and nineties of the twentieth century. At the same time, it is worth adding that the Inspector Gadget can count on his assistants. These include Penny, Brain and Quimby. On the other side of the barricade there is also Doctor Pazur, the adventurous inspector, who wants to take control of the world. This arcade book was published by LSP company, also known for such productions as CT Special Forces or Sitting Ducks. This game was released only on Sony console.
As the title suggests, the inspector must stop the invasion of robots commanded by Dr. Pazura. These beings have been endowed with artificial intelligence, and it is very difficult to get rid of them. Doctor Pazur also kidnapped the inspector's friends, who should of course be saved. However, the storyline does not play a big role in the course of the game, because Mad Robots Invasion is a very simple dexterity game, which does not require a lot of commitment from the player. There are several different stages to play. During the investigation, the EDPS visits five main locations. These include Hawaii, Great Britain and Mexico. Of course, this has a positive effect on the diversity of maps.
We use various gadgets to liquidate our opponents. In the initial phase of the game we have few of them, but with time new inventions appear. The player must also solve very simple riddles, which should not be a big challenge. From time to time you also come across stronger bosses. In total there are five such opponents to be defeated. The visual setting of the game, despite the use of a three-dimensional environment, presents itself relatively poorly. The environment is poor in detail and the character of the title character is poorly animated.
