A racing game dedicated to the title car discipline. Unlike other products of this type, in Inertial Drift the car is controlled by using two analog knobs - one is used for turning, while the other allows you to "throw" the back of the car in a given direction.

Inertial Drift is a racing game dedicated to the title racing discipline, which consists of drifting in controlled slides. The game was developed by the independent team at Level 91 Entertainment, and its release was handled by pQube.

Mechanics

In Inertial Drift we participate in spectacular one-on-one races. What counts during the race is not only who manages to cross the finish line in the first place, but also the style, in which we will conquer the track. The routes, which are twenty (such as city streets or picturesque mountain roads illuminated by neon lights), are exceptionally winding, which encourages drifting and combining slides into spectacular long chains (involving smooth transitions from one drift to another).

Unlike other racing games, the car is controlled here not by one but two analog sticks; while the left one is responsible for turning, the other one is for drifting by sliding the back of the car in a certain direction. Although the driving model is arcade, each of the sixteen available cars (although they do not have a license, they are modelled on real models) is slightly different; additionally, before we start the competition, we choose one of the drivers with unique driving style.
