Drift21 is a racing game about drifting. We are talking about the car discipline, which involves cornering in spectacular and controlled slides. The game was developed by Polish studio ECC Games, and its release was handled by 505 Games.

Mechanics

Drift21 puts at our disposal a wide range of cult cars, among which the famous Toyota AE86 and the extremely popular BMW 3 Series E30 are leading the way. Cars can be customized to individual preferences by modifying their appearance and technical parameters.

During the game, we take part in championships taking place on well-known tracks such as Ebisu Circuit in Japan. Our task is to overcome subsequent turns and combine slides into impressive combinations by moving smoothly from one to another. This way we gain points, the amount of which determines our place in the ranking.

The game does not force us - before joining the championship we can freely polish our skills on a given track. This is important because the developers focus on realism - cars drive differently, and the driving model faithfully reproduces the behavior of real machines.
