Industrial Annihilation Description
Industrial Annihilation is an indie real-time strategy game combining a factory simulator with army combat. It's a sequel to 2014's Planetary Annihilation - developed by Galactic Annihlation, a studio consisting of veterans.
The game runs on the Unreal Engine 5.
Plot
The game is set in the far reaches of space, during a war between two factions, Machina and Chaos. We command the former, tasked with taking over the galaxy and stopping the enemy's death march.
Mechanics
Industrial Annihilation combines RTS elements with factory construction sims. The player must gather valuable resources and plan the construction of each building to maximize production. This will let us create a powerful army able to oppose our enemies.
The game features two different factions. Machina resemble a futuristic army, making use of agile rovers, combat robots and tanks. Chaos resemble postapocalyptic warriors, using vehicles made of scrap, some of their monstrous machines able to hide underground.
There's plenty of ways to wreak havoc in Industrial Annihilation. We'll get to use massive units that can single-handedly change the course of battle, nuclear artillery and planet-busting weapons. If we'd rather focus on factory building, we can leave battlefield command up to an AI.
Game modes
Industrial Annihilation supports singleplayer and multiplayer for up to four people, both competitive and cooperative.
