Racing games based on real competitions reach a narrow spectrum of audiences, but fans of an event find in them what other productions do not provide them with. Faithful representation of reality, licenses and climate. This is the title of Indianapolis 500 Legends, developed by Torus Games development studio.

The game focuses on the decade from 1961 to 1971, which is the period of the greatest blossoming of the title event. There is no shortage of well-known drivers (including Jack Brabham, Eddie Sachs, AJ Foyt) and teams of car manufacturers. It should be remembered that every year on the route in Indianapolis there were different road conditions, the track was rebuilt, minimally changed. Thanks to the mission mode, the player can follow these changes.

The driving model is dexterity, with a slight simulation jam. It should be understood that powerful, although legacy, cars are easy to introduce into a minimum slip, but also relatively easy to lead it out and lead it out. In the mission mode, perform the appropriate tasks, such as overtaking an opponent for the appropriate number of laps. Other commands boil down to making up for losses or keeping a position in unfavourable conditions.

Traditionally for this type of production, the creators provided several camera settings, including an interesting view from the cockpit. The clocks may not be too rounded, but the sense of momentum in this way is intensified. The control is adapted to an atypical Wii controller. It is held horizontally and rotates like a steering wheel. You have to be careful, because the sensitivity is quite high (to be changed in the options).
