Level-5 is an independent Japanese video game developer. The company has a lot of titles on many consoles, but recently it specializes especially in Nintendo portable devices. One of the most famous series in the studio's output is Professor Layton series.
The main character of Inazum Eleven is Mark Evans (in the Japanese version of Endou Mamoru), a young talented goalkeeper and granddaughter of a footballer once very famous in Japan. In the city where Mark lives there is a complete standstill in football, which is why an ambitious player decides to create a football club on his own.
The game in Inazuma Eleven is divided into two areas. The first one refers to simple cRPG games. The main character moves around the virtual world (a map appears on the top screen) and talks to the characters he meets. With some he can lead duels, and others he can embody into his team. The authors have prepared a huge database of characters with different football possibilities.
The second part of the game are the matches. Just like in real matches, our players can dribble, pass, pick up balls from rivals or slides. There is also an option to make unusual, spectacular shots and games, in which special animations are activated. During the game we can also switch to the simplified tactics screen at any time to better position our team.
The title is characterized by a typical manga visual setting and a large number of colors. For the purpose of the game, a large number of animated inserts have also been created, appearing both during the exploration of the world and during football matches.
