Ikaro Will Not Die

IKARO: Will Not Die is a fast-paced action game and a spiritual successor to Velocity 2X. It was developed by an indie studio FuturLab, known not only for the Velocity series, but also PowerWash Simulator.

Mechanics

IKARO: Will Not Die is a third-person game. We play as the titular character, rushing through futuristic locations, cutting down hordes of enemies. The player's moveset is extremely fast-paced and acrobatic, described as "gravity surfing".

Ikaro can run at high speeds, jump far, glide and use special platforms to become even faster. On the battlefield we must stay mobile to avoid enemy attacks, chain our own moves into deadly combos and use our combat abilities.

Technical aspects

IKARO: Will Not Die makes use of a colorful, slightly cartoonish artstyle and features a fast-paced, electronic soundtrack.
