Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter Description
Much like in the case of Baldur’s Gate and Tales from the Sword Coast expansion, Icewind Dale: Heart of Winter expands the original game with additional quests and new locations, such as a small village of Lonelywood. It is exactly where our adventure starts. Our goal is to cast out the cruel barbarians that decided to steal all good of the North.
The add-on also improves the user interface by introducing additional stash for jewels and scrolls, higher stacking of items and so on. The game is also enriched with a bunch of new monsters, such as polar worms, all sorts of barbarians and undead. Moreover, there are 60 new spells for mages, druids and priests, as well as 80 new magical items. Thanks to the new offensive spells, druids and priests are now more useful in combat.
Heart of Winter requires the original Icewind Dale to be installed in order to work.
