An arcade car game, which is an adaptation of a popular TV program. Players have the opportunity to join Lisa, Hugh and Alex to see who will be able to transport the most loads on the icy truck routes. The game was produced by Kuma Games studio in cooperation with A&E Television Networks.

Ice Road Truckers is a proposal of Kuma Games development studio and A&E Television Networks addressed to fans of motor racing, especially fans of the TV show under the same title. The production was created for smartphones and tablets, but it was also converted to PCs.

Just like in the TV prototype, the main theme of the game is the rivalry of truck drivers, who use the ice-bound areas to transport cargo. The player has the opportunity to compete with Lisa, Hugh and Alex, trying to cover as much distance as possible on dangerous routes in the shortest possible time.

The game is set on arcade elements. During the game, the player watches the action from a camera behind a truck. Its task is to avoid obstacles, collect coins scattered in different places on the road, perform simple missions, as well as using elements of the environment (e.g. ramps) to jump over rivers.

The driving model used in Ice Road Truckers has little to do with realism. The physics engine used in the game takes into account only the basic forces acting on vehicles in motion. Virtual lorries can perform even very breakneck jumps, but any collision or contact with water automatically ends the game.

Ice Road Truckers' visuals clearly show the smartphone pedigree of the game. Three-dimensional graphics with poor textures and poorly diversified route environment definitely stands out from modern standards in PC games.
