A sports simulator game created by Yash Future Tech Solutions - an independent developer. There are six jockeys and six horses at the player's disposal - each of them has both their weak and strong points, which makes it necessary to experiment with different tactics.

Horse Racing 2016 is a sports and simulation game dedicated to horse racing, released PS4, XONE and PC. This game is the first installment of the series aimed at major platforms, up to this point developed by the Indian studio Yash Future Tech Solutions on mobile devices.

Mechanics

The aim of Horse Racing 2016 is to convey at least a surrogate of the thrill and emotions accompanying horse racing - a sport which is particularly popular in India. Yash Future Tech Solutions offers six jockeys and six steeds, each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses, forcing us to use slightly different racing tactics. The horse races can take place on six tracks during the ten seasons ending in the final season - which gives a total of 55 different competitions. The action of the game was presented from a third-person perspective, and the gameplay is accompanied by an intuitive interface and controls, thanks to which both horse riding enthusiasts and novice players will feel at home.

Play modes

Horse Racing 2016 features five different types of races: Time Trial, Normal, Straight, Hurdles and Free Rider. For those who like to have fun with their friends, there is also a possibility to compete with up to 3 other players offline (on split-screen).

Technical aspects

Horse Racing 2016 features an aesthetically pleasing, but average, three-dimensional visuals, reminiscent of the series' mobile pedigree. However, the devs took care of such details as changing weather conditions and the day and night cycle, so that we can test our riding skills in different situations.
