Prussians, numbering only 35,000, fought against an Austrian army consisting of nearly 65,000 troops under the command of Prince Charles of Lorraine. Thanks to Frederick's military mind, the Prussians actually routed the Austrians, suffering only 6300 killed and wounded, while the Austrians lost over 22,000 killed and another 12,000 captured.

Gamers will enjoy the attention to detail, whether in the animated battles that unfold, or the historically accurate orders of battle. With a full featured scenario editor, and extensive multiplayer capabilities, warfare during the 18th century never has to end! In fact, look for future titles in the Horse and Musket 2 series, which will take gamers from 1600-1800, always with the same love of history and playability as found in Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine and Prussia's Glory.

A few of the many features included in this game:

- Five battles between Prussia and Austria: Soor (1745), Lobositz (1756), Hochkirch (1758), Torgau (1760) and Leuthen (1757), with seventeen total scenarios.

- The high level of research you've come to except from Dave Erickson and Boku Strategy Games!

- Classic turn and hex based gameplay with a variable scale. Depending on the scenario hexes can range from 75 to 150 yards, while turns represent anything from several minutes to thirty minutes of real time.

- New animations and graphics than found in Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine. More historically correct uniform types for several infantry and cavalry regiments, including special graphics for the Von Kleist free corps and Prussian Hussar general Hans von Zieten.

- Animated officers lead troops into battle, while drummers drum them along. New loading/reloading animations of muskets.

- All the combat types you'd expect from an 18th century warfare game: Light Infantry, Musketeers, Grenadiers, Dragoons, Cuirassiers, Hussars, three types of artillery and three ranks of leaders.

- Included on the disc for Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine owners is the version 1.01 patch for that game, along with a special bonus scenario exclusive to Dragoon, Action at Burkersdor, 1762.

- All the goodness that you've come to expect from the Horse and Musket 2 series is still present. Leadership and morale play an important role in the game, there's plenty of chrome, and a high level of replayability.

- Strong multiplayer options, including PBEM. Note: Dragoon: The Prussian War Machine and Prussia's Glory are not cross-compatible for multiplayer sessions.

- Second in the exciting new Horse and Musket 2 series that will cover warfare on your computer from the 1600s until the 1800s.
