S2 Games is a game focused on network battles MOBA inspired by the modem Defense of the Ancients. Two teams stand in front of each other and the task of each team is to destroy the central building in the enemy base. The action takes place in the same world as the Savage series.

Heroes of Newerth network production of S2 Games, the developer responsible for the Savage cycle. The game is an extension of the popular tower defense mode introduced by the famous Warcraft III - Defense of the Ancient.

Just like in the classic tower defense, two antagonistic factions (in this case two teams of up to five people each) stand for a fight that culminates in the destruction of the opponent's base. However, in addition to the usual units controlled by A.I., individual heroes controlled by the players also fight - the authors have given a choice of more than sixty characters with unique qualities and combat skills. During the actual game we not only build fortifications and armies, but we also develop our heroes and try to use their power to tip the scales of victory on our own side.

For the needs of Heroes of Newerth, the authors developed a special matchmaking system, i.e. associating players with similar skills and level of experience. Thanks to this, it is very rare that a beginner has to face the game's fans who have already eaten their teeth on the game. It is also important to have various types of statistics, which make it easier to draw conclusions from lost clashes. As we continue to win, however, we climb in a number of rankings that are updated on an ongoing basis.

Players who like all kinds of editors will be glad that Heroes of Newerth includes an extensive program for creating new maps. It also allows you to set the rules of the game.
