Heavy Transport Simulator 2 is a sequel to a simulation game released in 2010 by UIG Entertainment, a developer studio. Once again, the player has the opportunity to plan routes and transport heavy loads, with modern truck-tractors and a wide range of specialty trailers at their disposal.

Heavy Transport Simulator 2 is a simulation game with strategic elements. The title was produced by UIG Entertainment for the less demanding part of lovers of trucks and large-size transport.

As in the original from 2010, the player plays the role of a TIR driver and the head of a company dealing with the transport of troublesome loads. His tasks include planning the route of the journey, taking into account the various road restrictions and economic aspects (fuel costs, time, etc.), selecting the right tractor and semi-trailer, loading and then carrying out the order.

Developers have taken care of a large variety and increasing difficulty of tasks to be faced while playing. Players must demonstrate logistic sense and precision in handling heavy equipment (e.g. a crane) and reflexes in reacting to various road situations. The driving model used is characterised by great simplifications, but in keeping with the fundamental laws of physics, which have an impact on the way of driving.

In the audiovisual layer, the Heavy Transport Simulator 2 does not differ from similar productions of UIG Entertainment. Three-dimensional graphic environment does not sin with excessive beauty and detail. However, the use of authentic brands and truck models in the game is noteworthy.
