Headbangers: Rhythm Royale

Headbangers: Rhythm Royale is a rhythm battle royale supporting cross-platform functionality. It was developed by an indie Glee-Cheese Studio, also known for another musical game - A Musical Story. Headbangers was published by Team17, also responsible for publishing DREDGE and Overcooked.

Mechanics

Each player must create their own pigeon and compete against other players in a series of musical mini-games for the title of Headbanger Master. Players can customize their bird by spending acquired Crumbs or use power-ups to gain an advantage over their rivals.

Headbangers: Rhythm Royale includes 23 minigames, each divided into 4 rounds of ascending difficulty. Each stage is a different engaging challenge with its own unique musical twist. Some mini-games test the player's memory, others their sense of rhythm, reflexes, timing or even rapping skills.
