Similarly to its predecessor, the game described herein is based on the books written by J.K. Rowling. In the game, players assume the role of the young wizard, who begins his second year at Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. After missing the train and flying the car to school, one has to discover new secrets of the old castle.

Plot

This time around, Harry is dragged into a dark plot related to House Slytherin, and has to face the heir to the House’s head – Salazar Slytherin. Luckily, with the help of his friends Hermione, Ron, Hagrid, and Hedwig the owl, Harry can solve new mysteries and defeat another threat lurking at Hogwarts. Of course, players have a lot of adventures ahead of them, but there is also a lot of studying to be done, as, in order to face the challenges ahead, the young wizard has to learn new spells. When wandering around the school and the school grounds, players are bound to meet many characters known from the books including Moaning Myrtle and visit vendors in the Diagon Alley. Additionally, there are multiple mini-games in which you get rid of the gnomes in Mrs. Wesley’s garden and face other students in Professor Lockhart’s Dueling Club.
