Smite Tactics for PC, PS4 and XONE is a turn based strategy game with card elements. It was created by Hi-Rez, known for such productions as Global Agenda, Tribes: Ascend or Paladins: Champions of the Realm.

Plot

The game is set in the universe of the popular MOBA game Smite. It is set in a magical land, where deities of various ancient mythologies fight each other.

Smite Tactics shows a new side of the in-game world and expands the story aspects of the brand.

Mechanics

Smite Tactics for PC, PS4 and XONE is a strategy game featuring turn-based battles between two deities chosen from a large pantheon. Each deity has unique abilities and can summon additional units onto the battlefield.

The summoning requires the right card, which makes collecting them a key aspect of the game. Smite Tactics also features a leveling-up system. Each battle won earns you new cards and experience points, which you spend on upgrading your character stats.

Game mode

The game focuses on multiplayer battles featuring various leagues and online rankings. For singleplayer fans, the game also offers story campaigns, in which you fight against the AI.

Technical aspects

Smite Tactics for PC, PS4 and XONE utilizes the Unreal Engine 4, which resulted in attractive visuals. Moreover, the controls system supports both the mouse-keyboard combination and the pad.
