HammerHelm

HammerHelm is an action-adventure and city-builder game. It was developed by SuperSixStudios, and it was published by Soedesco.

Plot

HammerHelm takes us on a journey to the fantastic land. During the game we play as a dwarf, who was banished from his underground homeland for spreading heresy, because according to him his people are able to live on the surface. Now there's nothing left for him but to prove himself right and create a prosperous city from scratch.

Mechanics

In HammerHelm we observe the action from the third person perspective (TPP). The game allows us to construct 45 buildings within our city. The most important are the structures producing various goods, such as farms, breweries and forges. Switching to top-down view helps in planning the buildings.

In addition to expanding the city, we do tasks for the residents and learn about the world. Exploring the picturesque, but full of dangers land, we often have to fight with enemies; during dynamic battles we use mainly cold weapons. With time we gain resources which allow us to produce better and better equipment, thanks to which we can face more and more challenges.

Technical aspects

HammerHelm features simple, but colorful and clear graphics in a cartoon style.
